State priority occupation list


The State Priority Occupation List (SPOL) is a list of occupations pro​duced annually by the Department of Training and Workforce Development (DTWD) which are rated according to their identified priority status in Western Australia. ​Further information on the SPOL is provided in the SPOL Summary Paper 2016. More detailed information is available in the SPOL Methodology Paper 2016, or you can simply browse our list of SPOL FAQs.​

​The latest version of the SPOL is provided below. You can search over 700 occupations and see their current priority status. Select one or a number of occupations and click the ‘Print occupation profiles’ button to find out more about the occupation(s).
