WorldSkills National Championships and Skills Show 2020

Are you ready to watch champions in action, experience greatness, uncover innovation and explore excellence at Australia’s largest skills-based competition? It’s all happening here in Perth from 13—15 August at the Perth Exhibition and Convention Centre, for the WorldSkills Australia National Championships and Skills Show 2020.

In the two-year lead up to the national championships, vocational education and training (VET) students and apprentices and trainees have been competing to win a place and represent their state or territory in their skills area. This huge event in August will see over 500 competitors showcase and benchmark their skills across over 60 competition categories on the national stage, as they go for gold and a chance to represent Australia at the International Competition in 2021.

Over three action-packed days, you’ll have access to an exciting array of interactive events, workshops and activities. As well as the competitions to watch and cheer on, there will be cutting edge virtual reality and technology to experience at the STEMhub, demonstrations to watch at the Skills Show, or you can get into Try’aSkill and see how you go in the trade demonstration areas.

The national championships will take place at the same time as Perth’s SkillsWest Careers Expo, offering great connections with training providers, career specialists and employers for advice and insights.

Don’t miss out on this exciting event, and get behind TeamWA who will be competing for Western Australia. To register and reserve your tickets, visit the WorldSkills Australia website: worldskills.org.au.
